Thankfully, the majority of the public now realizes climate change is caused by human activity. However, there is still too much disinformation around clean energy technologies that we need to set straight. |  Tell EPA to Set Strong Air Quality Standards for Particulate MatterThe U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a weak update to the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter (PM2.5 or soot).  CT and NY Gas Pipeline Proposal Threat to Climate, Public Health, and SafetyAddressing climate change requires an all out effort to decarbonize by reducing the use of fossil fuels. Despite this, fossil fuel corporations are still trying to increase the use of fossil fuels—including in our state and region. Community members engaged with us to make Valentine's Day cards for the Governor to tell him to break up with fossil fuels! |  Legislative UpdateThings are moving fast and furious at the Capitol now that public hearing season is in full swing. We have seen some good bills heard in the Environment Committee, Energy and Technology Committee, and Housing Committee. Get an update on some of these bills we’re following. |
