On Monday the 13th of February 2023 Sierra Club Connecticut held a rally outside of the Capitol Area System (CAS) building with a crowd of roughly 40 people. Community members engaged with us to make Valentine's Day cards for the Governor to tell him to break up with fossil fuels! There were four speeches that were given from Alex Rodriguez (Save The Sound), Tenaya Tayler (Nonprofit Accountability Group), Alycia D. Jenkins (Sierra Club Connecticut), and Melinda Tuhus (350CT). Community members held up signs and chanted phrases to ongoing traffic. Below are a few group photos from that event.

The next day, on the 14th of February 2023, a few members from the rally delivered the Valentine's Day Cards to Governor Lamont's office at the Capitol.
