As I noted in an email I sent in August, I will be focusing on growing and strengthening the Chapter by developing strategic plans for our conservation campaigns, increasing our membership and ensuring Chapter funding can support our efforts. Seeking Outings Leaders: Did you think that outings were only rigorous expeditions? Sierra Club outings encompass all and any pursuit of the great outdoors. If you love to paint or draw outside of take photos
of nature, you could be an outings leader by sharing this interest with others. Are you a bird enthusiast, or a budding botanist? Yes, with simple training, you could lead an outing. If you are interested in finding out more or proposing an outing that you would like to lead, please contact samantha.dynowski@sierraclub.org.
