Sierra Club Connecticut is preparing for its annual election in the Autumn, when our statewide membership will vote to elect volunteers to serve on the Chapter Executive Committee, and members of groups will vote for their Executive Committees. If you are a member in good standing with Sierra Club, if you are engaged in our work, and you have time to volunteer in a leadership position, please submit your name for consideration by the Nominating Committee. The Executive Committee meets nine times per year, and the meetings are expected to continue to be conducted online going forward. 

 

Sierra Club Connecticut particularly seeks to recruit volunteers who are young, gender nonconforming, Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, and other people of color. Sierra Club, at the state and national level, is committed to dismantling white supremacy and creating an environmentally sustainable future that is just.
