Climate change is bringing unprecedented impacts in our nation and in Connecticut. The response must be an end to fossil fuels. We’ve been working hard to transition away from dirty, climate-destroying fuels to 100% clean and renewable alternatives, but the pace is not fast enough. Recent decisions to approve the Willow Project, the fracked gas Mountain Valley Pipeline, and a number of gas export facilities along the Gulf Coast are not recognizing the scale of the climate crisis we are facing.
We need our leaders to act, and the time is now. That's where you come in.
World leaders and President Biden will be in New York City on September 17 for the first-ever United Nations Climate Ambition Summit. Over 500 organizations, including Sierra Club, are joining in a week of climate action culminating in a march. Join us at the March to End Fossil Fuels on September 17th in New York City!

Thousands of people from around the country will be marching to tell President Biden and other world leaders to end fossil fuels. Together, just as we did at the People's Climate March, we will send a simple message as strongly as we can: we demand action! We demand a greener, cleaner, and more equitable future. As Conneciticut residents, we can easily get to New York and participate. Sign up today here, and once you RSVP, we'll let you know about next steps and how you can plug in.
