A new report made for Sierra Club shows that our reliance on fossil gas is the cause. We need a transition to renewable energy both to address climate change and so energy is affordable and reliable to Connecticut residents.

Legislative Update

We are about half way through the 2023 session of the Connecticut General Assembly. Bills have been raised and had public hearings, and many committees have completed their work and sent bills to get a vote from the full House and Senate. Many of Sierra Club’s 2023 legislative priorities are making their way to a vote.
